Well, this is our first blog posting and we have some exciting news...
Last night was our first Keller Williams Regional Awards Ceremony at the Alley Theatre in Houston. Since we just joined Keller Williams last March, it was our first big awards ceremony and it was very exciting for the Conroe Market Center. We came home with tons of awards and our market center placed 3rd in our region for sales volume and gross commission income. As if that were not exciting enough, we were awarded 7th place for total listing units. We were so excited and surprised...7th out of nearly 3,000 agents! Thank you all for helping us have such a successful year!
The market in the Conroe-Lake Conroe area is going strong. Mortgage rates are still around 5.5%, give or take a little depending on the situation. It is a great time to buy and sell real estate in our area. While the nation has seen nearly a 20% decline in real estate over the last year, our region (Conroe, The Woodlands, Spring, Houston, Sugarland, Katy, Galveston, and Bryan) has seen an approximate 9% gain. We have always done things bigger and better in Texas!
